Our History

The Faith Academy of Columbus was established in 1997 by Dr. David C. Forbes, Jr., founder and pastor of Columbus Christian Center Church. Since that time, FAC has provided a superior education program grounded in Bible-based truth and values for K-6 children.

The school continues to grow in academic excellence and traditional values under the leadership of its Senior Administrator, Dr. Tracy Forbes, First Lady of Columbus Christian Christian Church.

To impact families, one child at a time, through leadership training, a superior Bible-based academic program, high standards of moral excellence and character development and strong evangelical outreach, to foster a sense of community between the church, home and school.

Faith Academy of Columbus is a chartered non-public school accredited by the Ohio Department of Education and affiliated with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
